Holy Week

Palm Sunday

Holy week starts with the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as the people wave palms and shout Hosanna (God save us). We will celebrate during our morning services. There will be special music from the kids during the 11AM service.

Sunday , March 29
Sanctuary and online at 9AM
Family Life Center and online at 11AM

Maundy Thursday

This service will take place on Thursday,  April 2 in the Family Life Center at 7PM.

The English word “Maundy” comes from the Latin mandatum, meaning “commandment.” On the night before His betrayal and arrest, Jesus washed the disciples’ feet, shared a meal, and gave them a new commandment: “Love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). A Seder Meal is a traditional Passover meal remembering God’s deliverance of the Israelites from slavery in Egypt through Scripture, storytelling, prayer, and symbolic foods. As Christians in the United Methodist Church tradition, we share in a Seder-inspired meal with respect for its Jewish roots, helping us better understand the context of Jesus’ Last Supper and connect the Exodus story of deliverance with Christ’s saving love as we journey toward the cross and the hope of Easter.

Good Friday

Join us for a meaningful Stations of the Cross service in the Sanctuary on Friday,  April 3 at 7PM.
Good Friday is the day Christians remember the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ and reflect on the depth of His sacrificial love. From the early centuries of the church, believers have marked this solemn day with prayer, Scripture, and quiet contemplation. One historic practice is the Stations of the Cross, which traces the events of Jesus’ journey to Calvary. In our service, we will walk through a Scripture-centered variation known as the Bethel Way, pausing at each station for a brief meditation and prayer. Through this intentional time of reflection, we enter the story of Christ’s suffering and prepare our hearts for the hope of Easter.

Easter Sunday

“Easter begins in the shadows, well before sunrise. This is the way resurrection works; it gathers itself in the darkness and can be difficult for us to recognize at first light.” — Jan Richardson, Circle of Grace: A Book of Blessings for the Seasons
Gather with us as we celebrate the gift of resurrection and unending love in Christ.
